my driveway was a bonus location for the MN1K this year. Riders had to write down the license 'number' on my sidecar rig. I installed Jim Lawrences plate that he had sent me. "JimnVA". Jim always had a dancing banana in his posts, thats why there is a dancing banana at the top of The Barn. Jim died a few years back.
Many of the MN1K riders did find the VA plate a bit odd.

Jims rally went pretty good, in retrospect. He hit an ugly patch of broken up road that destroyed both of his rims. He kept the bike upright and called me to come pick him up. Rims are broken, but Jim is fine.
