Try to get over to Savoy, half way down Spearfish canyon, head out down the road to Roughlock falls, and then keep going till you get to Spearfish. I loved that road, and was in a van! Would have been extra sweet on a bike, AND there are lots of access points to the riding trails there also. I think you need to get a trail pass though.
