Victory engines are made in Osceola, WI and the bikes are assembled in Spirit Lake, IA.
According to Polaris "Victory Motorcycle assembly will remain in our Spirit Lake, Iowa, facility, and assembly of the Freedom V-Twin engine will now join it there. This allows us to have all Victory manufacturing and assembly in a single location. It's still an American-made motorcycle. We have planned investments going into the Spirit Lake plant as it becomes the Victory Motorcycles Center of Excellence."
I've owned Victory motorcycles since 2000 and just bought my third (a 2009 Victory Vision) less than two weeks ago. A huge draw for me has been they are MADE IN AMERICA (the Midwest, no less) and the V-Twin engine. I know my loyalty would be tested if the engines were to be assembled outside the U.S. and I sincerely hope the closing of the Osceola plant does not ruin the town.
