Just short of 1000 miles for the trip. It was a blast!
We drove through rain across most all of Indiana. At about the Illinois line the weather broke and we got some drying out time. Stopped in Wenona, IL to get out of rain gear.
Just out of Wenona my Generator light came on. Stopped in Lacon, IL and found this under the generator belt cover.
We got on the phone and located a belt at an O'Reilly's Auto Parts about 5 miles away. I got stuff cleaned out and ready for the new belt while Gumby ran to get it.
Good as new!
HEAVY storms most of the rest of the way to Iowa. We all looked/felt like wet cats by the time we arrived. By Friday the weather broke sunny and we had a dry, albeit a little cool weekend and trip home.
Another great Davenport trip all in all...
On the road home in New Haven, IN
Back safe in the barn, 2:00AM Sunday.
Can't wait 'til next year!
My old Mod 12 has 3 No1 buck up first, followed by 2 00, followed by a slug. If I can't handle 'em with that, I'll write 'em a check.
