check the valve lash. And don't assume the carbs need to be sync'd. Four cyl bikes very very very rarely need it. No matter what the HD riders tell you.
If you ever need a stator, drop me a note, I ahve several, its supposedly a weak point on the Suzuki's but I've never had one fail.
