It was too heavy for my needs. And in the 250 Class I've said many times that the Yamaha and the Kawi are superior machines to the DR250. Gosh golly, maybe it doesn't have anything to do with my bikes at all. Maybe, just maybe, I'm trying to get folks to choose a bike that WORKS BETTER AS A DUAL SPORT BIKE than the KLR.
BUt AGAIN only if they havent' already made the purchase. If you already own the thing, then ride it. BUT don't keep pushing the KLR on others simply because thats what you own.
