Everything that had been created, all the knowledge thta had been amassed, got thrown to the seven winds. I'd have thought that the monetary value alone would have been enough to keep things together. Sell it all as a lump to a bigger manufacturer, or let the team take over and produce the bikes themselves. Just makes no sense. There must have been backstory that was never public.
