What can you tell us about the M52's performance in such competition?
I'm referring about the M52 in .38 Special Wadcutter, and not the M952.
Some background, civilian shooters in Mexico are not allowed to own calibers such as the 9mm Parabellum nor .45 ACP...so, generally, shooting sports like IPSC and IDPA are not allowed, except for the "back-up" competition, which can be practiced with .32 ACP, .38 Special, or .380 ACP.
For a couple of years, or more, there's been a great debate whether the M52 (allowed to civilians under Mexican federal law) can or should be used for combat sport competition and personal defense.
At least in one state, some people practice combat shooting with it, but others shunned it.
