I bought this yesterday and am trying to figure out what it is. smith and Wesson model 15-3 with a 1" bull barrel, very wide target trigger and hammer, on the bottom of the cylinder cradle it is stamped G616 any idea who made it and the company. barrel has no markings but has very pronounced rifling and a looks like 3 stage target crown. any info would be greatly appreciated.

The thing about PPC revolvers is that anyone could be a gunsmith and make an enhanced revolver. It looks like a nice gun and has heavy barrel so its a good revolver to use for Open Div. The stamp on the cylinder might be the inspector from Smith. The one to ask is Joe Leinenger. He builds custom revolvers and has been in the game a long time. Look on here for a post about MOJO custom guns. That's his company. Hit him up.
