Kris, in my humble opinion Glock would be last gun I would use for PPC. May be good for IDPA or IPSC for close and fast shooting. Accuracy wise only marginal at 25 yards and forget it at 50 yards. Not a target gun.
I am sure someone out there will not agree with me though. I dont care for them as a service gun to be honest.
My opinion and everyone has one.

Kris,
Sounds good. When you say great groups at 25 m, what are the size of these groups, x-ring, 10 ring???-just curious.

Kris,
That is "not" bad at all for a "Glock", especilly if under time.Again, this is not a target gun.Not the greatest trigger either. Is it factory or ??
Is this from all positions? My feeling is along with others for PPC discipline you want 85-90% of shots in the X-ring at this distance.Again, some might disagrrrree.(smile)As I age glad to keep um on paper (LOL)
When you go back to 50, if you intend to shoot that distance, you will prob. see quite a spread.
What load are you using?

Yah it's from all positions using a ny1 trigger that I really like
I am using 180 grain winch factory loads
I don't doubt when I get used to it I will put more in the x ring from 25
I am undecided if I will use it for 1500 or not as we only have 25 m here at our range
I will try it at 50 to see how it shoots and if it is all over I will just use it for the duty match

When and if you try it at 50,let me know, just curious.
From what you state, should be good for duty match for sure.Different strokes for different folks.

Replacing the bbl can help(at least can use lead). Might even try a Ghost 3.5 lb trigger unless this is your duty weapon. This is a .40 I assume from your original post. They are not condusive to most accurate cals, one of reasons dont see too many in the PPC disciplines. Never say never. Hope it works out for you no matter, and interested in results.
What loads do you intend to try @ 50?

Single answer, no, it will not be competitive at a high level of competition. Very useable affordable guns are out there, used.
