Bulged barrel on 226 sig

One of the guys bulged his barrel on his 226 sig just after the chamber
Should be just replace the barrel or can he keep shooting it?

Most definitely replace. Your dealing with high pressures of explosives. Anytime you have any problem with a barrel replace it. No need for a nother incident and get hurt.

If the barrel goes the slide, firearm, and person could go with it too. A new barrel will have a nice tight chamber and rifling too.

That's either over 10,000 rounds or some hot loads!

I was reading that active competitors may change barrels 2x a year.
