Has anyone ever purchased from Prize Sports Cards in NJ...? Having found the Prize Sports Cards link listed on the Old Cardboard web site, one would presumed them to be upright and credible.
Prize Sports Cards has some very attractive cards displayed on the site, but after having contacted them, and given their response, I've been left have a growing degree of skepticism. A quick investigation on the background of the person running the site found them in the records of the "International Automated Good Trader Database", a person with this same name has been found the database to have had many complaints of unethical practices lodged against them back in the 90's. Does anyone know anything about, or had any dealings with the Prize Sports Cards web site? I'm poised to drop 2 grand on them, but I'm not sure it's a wise thing to do.
Are you looking at the Cap Anson? They also have some nice Cobbs. I haven't heard of them, sorry I couldn't help. They could provide better scans of the cards. I do recommend dropping the grade by at least one and looking for a money back guarentee just in case. Unless of course someone speaks up and says they're A+

Oh how I feel sorry for some folks, and wish them the ability to recover... those poor innocents upon whom emotional distress has been intentionally inflicted, by people and 'watches' who threaten lawsuits.
Such an evil tort.
ADD THAT to the lawsuit. And it should be "PAY BIG", not "PAYS BIG".

A couple of years ago I tried to buy a cracker jack Wagner and several Cobbs, but the deal never materialized because they didn't respond to my inquiries.
