Hindu, red vs. brown May 6 2008 at 2:12 PM

(Login drdduet ) Is/was there a production significance of ink color for T206 advertiser HINDU?
For example, was red associated with a different type of tobacco?
Are the same subjects available with each color? Are the colors series specific?

that's like asking how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop...the world may never know!

In general for T206, (Ted, Scot, or someone please correct me if i'm wrong):
Brown Hindus are found in the 150 Only, 150/350, and Southern Leagues (except Texas League) series.
Red Hindus are found in the 350/460 Super & Regular Prints and 460 Only series.
Neither are found in the 350 Only series.
Never are both brown and red found in the same series.
Best Regards,
Craig
