123 - T206 DRUM's....are there anymore out there ?

June 12 2008, 5:09 PM

No interest here.....or, no more DRUM's to report ?

I refuse to believe that there are no more DRUM's to report....and, that the above list of 120 cards has
accounted for all the T206's with DRUM backs......there are more to be found......and the following lists
at least 58 Subjects that are possible candidates.
I am projecting this based on the A-B-C-D pattern discussed in another current thread on this forum,
which shows a distinct commonality between T206's with American Beauty 350 (frame), Broad Leaf 350,
Cycle 350, and DRUM backs. Therefore, we can extrapolate that each of these T206 Subjects eventually
may be found with a DRUM back, since they already exist with the AB, CY, and BL backs.

55 possible DRUM candidates from the 350-only Series....updated 6/16/08

Abbott
Adkins
Armbruster
Arndt
Beck
Beckley
Bliss
Burchell
Burns

OK....Net54ers, let's see if we can transfer from this list to the above confirmed DRUM list some of these cards.

Re: 120 - T206 DRUM's....are there anymore out there ? YES

June 12 2008, 7:14 PM

I just noticed this thread and have at least 1 of the unknown T206 with Drum backs - Summers, Detroit. It is a lower grade:

I will double check the list above and see if I can confirm any others.

I knew you would come thru with some more DRUM's. You and Brian W. are the experts when it comes to these really tough backs.

Thanks much....and, now there are 56 left in the "predicted" column.

Take care,

TED Z

Picking these off one by one...

PSA has graded a T206 Hunter, Brooklyn with Drum back (PSA 3).
I have not seen this in person; trusting the pop reports.

Ted,
You are showing T206 Al Shaw, St. Louis as possible with Drum back.
Shaw, St. Louis is not possible with Drum.
You probably mean Hunky Shaw, Providence (possible but not confirmed).

Yep, Al Shaw is a 150 Series card....I meant Hunky Shaw....don't mind me, just typing fatigue, or perhaps a "senior moment"

Thanks.....I've corrected it and I added Hunter to the top list.

T206 DRUM "beat" = 124 cards, who can make it 125 ?

June 13 2008, 10:18 PM

A Net54 reader emailed me to report his T206 Leifield (bat) with a DRUM back.

This 350/460 Series T206 subject raises the total of confirmed DRUM's to 124.

Still expecting more inputs here.....so, let's hear from you T206 collectors ?
