Nice card just some toning I would guess..

I would have bid if the seller hadn't banned me from his auctions...LOL

Because you'll ask here's the story...

The seller only originally took checks, a check of mine was lost and didn't get to him I was in Asia at the time. So once I was made aware I DHL'ed him a check overnight only to find out DHL didn't deliver to PO boxes. I emailed him and said please give me another address the check is in your neck of the woods I can have DHL drop it off anywhere.

He declined....so the check came back to me. No down close 40$ shipping to get a guy a check for a less than $70 card I had to re-mail him a check. The seller was actually quite rude and pushy about the whole thing I thought. But I let it go even gave him good feedback he never gave me feedback at all.

In fact I think Scott Levy emailed me and we both had problems getting him payments, now I see he takes PayPal. I only noticed I was banned when I went to bid and eBay prompted me with a "the seller has blah blah blah from his auctions" I emailed him to ask why he never responded...I thought this all was very laughable.

I guess business is good enough he doesnt need any extra bids etc.

Kudos to him no hard feelings I'm sure he's a stand up guy etc...

I find it curious that the card has huge borders, yet doesn't fill the holder. Most of my T206s with big borders fill the PSA holder completely. Can somebody post a scan of another Shag for comparison's sake?

John, He banned me too for some un-substantiated reason I cannot remember. How funny!

Here's a few more big borders....

[IMG][linked image][/IMG]

My scanner sucks... And I lack Wonka's talent, but the raw card does have slightly more area, so I guess the registration was a bit off that day.

Be well Brian

PS I have seen this only quite a few Piedmont 350's...

PS The card still looks funny to me and I would pass... And I'm pretty sure I haven't been banned yet.

Brian don't mention Adam or I or you'll be banned for sure....

Love big border cards, funny thing I used to have quite a few of these also P350 traded most all of them away cause I thought they looked funny.

Now I kind of like them and wish I had them back....Great cards Brian..

P.S. Brian you can always send me all your cards and I'll scan them for you I could be like the Kevin S. of card scanning...let's start with that Red Hindu Johnson of yours...I should have a good scan too you in say 10-20yrs.

Hi John,

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'm going to buy a new scanner and take a few lessons from you....

Be well Brian

PS I've got about 80 of these monster borders and about 90% of them are Piedmont 350's...

PS I could never sell my Johnson....

Guys, what could be wrong with it? It is in a PSA holder. What could be wrong with that?

Hi John,
I threw you a 3-0 85mph fastball right down the middle and it took you longer to hit it out than I thought....

Be well Brian

PS I threw you one earlier, but I think the coach gave you the take signal.

I think the card is fine. It looks like it is missing a blue layer of ink. Compare the "R"s on the uniform. As for filling the PSA case, it may actually be in a larger holder than the standard T206. They finally developed a slightly larger one for E cards; they replaced the much loved condom holders used previously.

Hi Jim,
I agree with you about the holder, but I still don't like the card....
Why would you ban some of the most knowledgeable T206 collectors from bidding in your auctions???? Red flag for me...

Be well Brian

He banned knowledgeable T206 collectors, and Adam and I unreal! LOL

Not all P350 are big borders I traded this card away to Bill Mastro back in the 80s. It was P150 and had really big borders. Not sure whatever happened to the card. I thought Id get another one with normal borders doen the road. Now I wish I kept the card as I still need him to complete the set.

Bill did call me a few weeks later with a much nicer one with perfect borders but it was too much money...oh well live and learn

I know where you can pick up another Jumbo Wagner.....and barter to get free child care and a GM at the same time....Kind of a win-win-win situation....

Hi John,
You get Sirius and XM for the same price....But the undercoating will cost you something... North of the Mason-Dixon.

Be well Brian

PS That Cobb/EPDG would look better in my collection than yours...
