Greetings. What is considered the Rookie card for Bill Dickey? Look forward to some replies.
Thanks

Most people would consider it to be the 1931 Exhibit Four-on-One, or the 1931 W-502 Strip cards.

If you don't like those choices, there are a handful of 1933's to choose from:

R328 US Caramel (Yes, 1933, not 1932)
R319 Goudey
R300 George C. Miller
R308 Tattoo Orbit

Found another 1931 issue

He is also in the 1931 W-Unc Strip Cards (Pg 516 in 2009 Catalog)

Bill Dickey Rookie?

Gentleman, the nicest looking card for me is the 1932 U.S. Caramel. Love that pose with the bat. Those cards are much scarcer then their Gum counterparts also. Thanks for the posts.

No, no! US Caramel is 1933, NOT 1932!

We settled that years ago! Burdick was wrong on a couple of things.

(Most likely, the non-sports set of US Caramel Presidents (R114) was 1933 also. The last card in the set is FDR who was elected in November of 1932, but wasn't actually inaugurated President until January of 1933.)
