I just won this auction on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330299981801) and thought it would have gone for more. According to the seller, the card is graded, they just used the wrong images (has other graded cards for sale).

I checked the SGC pop report and there is one El Principe De Gales back with a SGC 30 grade.

So should this card have ended with a higher bid, or did I over pay for this back.

Looking for T206 in Poor to Fair condition.

I think you got an ok deal. That card is missing a bit of green, and it looks like there's a crease or fold or scratch across the front, from about 9:00 to 1:30.

The guy has lots of feedback, so maybe he's right, the card is graded. But a seller should be able to get the right scans up there, so maybe not... It isn't like he has hundreds of auctions going. And you were the only bidder, so unless you bid early on he could have revised his listing for free.

I don't think you either overpaid or underpaid. Goldilocks, just right.

but the pictured card would not get an SGC 30. Is the seller saying that he used the wrong picture and that you will in fact be receiving an SGC 30 Mattern albeit not the one pictured? If so you probably did OK.

I would say that a EPDG SGC30 card would probably go for between $30 - $35. So you didn't over pay or get a big deal.

For comparison....I recently acquired a Mattern with an EPDG back in Vg-Ex condition. It cost me $40.

I'd say you did alright with your purchase.
