Dan, Good to see you back posting. I've sent you a couple of emails this month and just wanted to see if you've received them. If not, please shoot me an email and I will resend. Thanks, Ty
Some awfully beautiful cards in this thread. Gotta love this set. These are two of my nicest T205s. The Johnson look familiar, DK? I have limited my Gold Border collecting more or less to a subset of New York Giants which you can see here: http://tinyurl.com/d6rh7z , the password, all together now, is "aloha". Had a heck of a time landing Raymond to round out the group.
Holy Moses! Vintage cards, scantily-clad Polynesian maidens, plenty penguins, authentic Dutch people and more.
(BBHoF album updated, new E93 album, Duke Kamanawanaleia pix, NYG T205 sub-set)

They probably won't be sold anytime soon. The Drum is a 50, only the Carter card a 70 grades higher, however the back on mine is quite a bit fresher(it's really blue in person).
I got the T205 Drum at The National 2 years ago. I paid huge money for it at the time and have been offered quite a bit more. I looked for a decade for one that nice. I firmly believe it is the nicest one out there, even though the 70 is technically nicer. The Hindu was picked up years back.

Add me to the list of well-wishers.
You asked for more T205's...and it's my favorite set.
My trusty new scanner and I need a few hours together, but here's one of my favorites:
That Drum is great...I am still searching for an off-condition Drum to complete my back set. I can say that out of all the Drums I have seen and tracked, Scott's is the nicest.
At one time the Drum, Hindu & Broadleaf were considered to be equally difficult to find(1980's). However 2 decades have elapsed and we now know the true scarcity.
Broadleaf(either color) are difficult to find, especially nice.
Hindu is very scarce, only a few have been auctioned or offered in the last 5 years.
Drum is almost impossible and when found are normally off grade. Of the handful offered for sale in the last 10 years, most had back damage or were very low end.
