Does anyone know of any vintage dealers in the DC area? I've only come across modern card shops so far. Thanks!

They have a large selection of vintage cards commons and stars to fill your sets as well as some cool Washington area memorabilia.

I am not a dealer, but if you buy anything from me on the B/S/T or eBay (am76), you are more than welcome to pick them up at my home in Georgetown (which is where I keep 90% of my cards)!

Well, related to my other recent thread, I'm just looking to pick up some commons to frame (3 T206, maybe a 33-Goudey and CJ). Need them raw, and I'm excited to get my hands on them, so I'm trying to avoid eBay.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations so far -- they're all new to me.

The DC area has never been a real hot area for baseball cards, much less vintage cards. Maybe 10 or 15 years ago, there were some others, but even those were more of the shiny stuff. The very few stores that are still around today (other than House of Cards & AJ's) are really just for kids collecting YuGiOh, Pokemon, etc,...

Huggins and Scott has the same address as House of Cards. That should be a good indicator that they know something about older stuff...

Jared,

There is a card show in the DC area coming up in March. The Chantilly, VA card show is March 20-22. It is a decent show. I set up and a few other board members either set up or visit. If you need directions or any information, let me know.

The web-site for the show is:

Sincerely,

They've recently beefed up their inventory of vintage cards, thanks to a local dealer shown entering the shop below.
