These don't come up too often...let alone practically a complete set. It looks like it was a type collectors feeding frenzy. I picked up this delahanty. What do y'all think of the prices realized for these?

For some weird reason, I find myself drawn to these cards! Wish I'd known about the fire sale.

me too, Ken...I think it's the star of David that appeals to me. Ironic the cards depict the tigers...more specifically Mr. Cobb...encased in a star of David...as I'm sure he loved the Jews!

Picked up three. As far as the prices, I'm not sure. Will SGC automatically grade these 10's with the pinholes? I think on eye appeal they should be worth a bit more...but who knows. I'm always puzzled by Kit's scans.

That bottom one of Breckenridge looks a whole lot like the Free Press O'Learly over in the current Pick-Ups thread. Is it a mis-ID? Does O'Leary have a Topping PC of his own that is different?

It does look like Beckendorf to me as well. Here is another image of him...

Cobb doesn't seem very happy to be inside that star.

These are really difficult to find.

Nine winners divided the 19 lots. Of the 19 lots the median number of bids per lot was 12. The winning bidders had a range of feedbacks from 300 to 13000. IMO prices realized were realistic.

cool postcards.

Forget Cobb, what about Henry Ford, A BIG Tiger supporter and blatantly anti-semitic.
