Heritage Auction has unbelievable stuff too....

As one of our sponsors I want to throw a "kudos" to my hometown Heritage Auctions too. Adding my friend Peter Calderon to the mix or professionals didn't hurt their reputation either. Their Auction #714, that just started, has some great items in it. Three Boston Garters and a T206 Red Cobby Carolina Brights in a 5 holder, a D304 Baker with Martens back in a 92 holder (that looks vaguely familiar) and lots of other great cards.

2009 April Signature Vintage Sports Memorabilia Auction - Dallas, TX. Auction #714.

very nice.....Too bad that they have many of the cards as lots instead of singles. Otherwise I would be bidding.

J/K There are some nice lots there alright.

If you could pick one memorabilia item to own (not resell), what would it be? I'd definitely want the Koufax game-used glove from the Doug Harvey collection. Second place would be the Willie Mays gamer from the same source. If I got both, I'd use them to play catch with my daughter (she's a lefty so she could wear the Koufax glove; I'd wear Mays's glove). Ah, perchance to dream...
