Was wondering if anyone knew if the Tristar San Francisco show at the Cow Palace (May 1-3) gets much in terms of vintage? Trying to figure out if the 2+ hour drive would be worth it!

I've always enjoyed the show, and I've found some great bargains there, although I prefer Mark McRae's shows because they're more focused on vintage stuff. Where are you driving from? It takes me about two hours to get there from the Monterey Peninsula ...

I'll be there - and I'm very excited because of two reasons; this will be my first card show, after returning to the hobby, in over 14 years; and two, I'll be there for vintage cards only. This is the Tri-Star show and being from Houston, I use to attend quite a few shows in Houston when Tri-Star was still a fledgling concept - I remember attending show's in the some of the worst hotel locations in Houston, even one with NO AC and nearly all the customers AND dealers left after the first 3 hours due to the heat....ahhhh, the memories!

Chris - I recently moved to Carmel-by-the-Sea, so I'd be driving up from there.
