From the bay after I was the underbidder on the TTT back of the same player in the recent MHC auction. I almost became a back collector with the TTT back but saved a ton of dough with this pickup with a better image then the TTT but of course this one has the more common back.
Sorry about that on the TTT. I think it went for a great (but low) price. I am going to send it in to be graded and think it will be a 50, and at very worst a very strong 40. TTT's are fairly tough....
I think you are referring to the raw Wagner Ramly TTT the other night. You did get it for a great price and you don't know how close I was to sniping that for about a hundred over your winning bid but realized that I was not a back collector at this time (must show restraint)! I had that one grading out as an SGC 50 also. I will e-mail you later on to see what the grade comes in at.
You would have cost me some money...my snipe was about $550 on it (or about $100 more than yours would have been)....I think it's about a 650-750 card....and I might even use it to upgrade my current TTT...I love collecting backs....take care now
Thanks and a tip of the McDonald honkbal hoed to "prewarcardcollector" (Brent Huigens) on eBay for
this beauty. Exemplary service from Brent, quick and rock-solid packaging.
Not so exemplary was "jimmyfoxx" who ladeedah waited 14 days after Paypal payment to ship this card. Anyway, am glad to have a clean 1914 CJ of HR Baker.
Bought these T202s chiefly for the center panel images. No muss, no fuss with seller "roomn8".
