Ebay Starting Price

I don't list cards on ebay often, but when I do I often struggle with the starting price. For cards worth anywhere from 50 to a couple hundred dollars is $9.99 a good starting price? I would presume the market is big enough for major sets that through competitive bidding the final price will usually meet what someone sets out to get.

$9.99 is not bad - it's reasonable, especially if the card is graded. Although, I've seen many cards, both graded and non-graded, start at $0.99 and do hella well.

On one note though, if the card is a common card and not graded, you'll get less bites with a starting bid of $9.99 - it'll sell, but maybe bypassed by some people.

I've had very good success selling cards with starting bids of .99 Do realize that sometimes it may bite you in the a**...
