Possible E95 Back Variation

I just purchased an E95 with a strange back. It has back damage, so it's not clear exactly what's going on. But look at the scan below. You'll see that all of the numbers are off by 2. Crawford should be 11, but he's 9. Mathewson should be 12, but he's 10. Because of the back damage, I can't tell what the numbers of the first two cards are, but I suspect they are blank.

Then look at the bottom. Nos. 24 and 25 are Collins and Reulbach, just as they should be. But they are located on the same line as the words "made by" (as in "made by Philadelphia Caramel Co."). There should not be any players' names on this line. Then, look just above Collins and Reulbach. There they are again, the same two players, but this time numbered 22 and 23 (partly obscured, but clearly the case). Counting the number of lines on the checklist, there are 27, one line for each player, plus the duplicate lines of Collins and Reulbach.

Have any of you seen anything like this before? I've tried to imagine how this could possibly be due to the back damage, but I just don't think it can be. Thanks.

the "COL" from Collins looks like perhaps it had been removed and re-attached in a misaligned manner...

I agree, it looks like the piece with #'s 9-12 likely came off when removed from a scrapbook or something and it was reattached in the slightly wrong spot.

I am in agreement with Mark and Rhett. If you look above the Collins and Reulbach lines (to approximately in line with where #22 and #23 would be), you will see the end of Collins' and Reulbach's name. That relocated piece (including the "Made by" lines) was simply reattached too high or the piece with the beginnings of their names "COL and REUL" were attached too low. I don't think it is a "duplicate" listing of those two players since there are no duplicated letters in their name.

I think you guys are right. But I think the whole line of numbers, 8-25, plus the "Col" and "Reul" letters must have been a single piece that was reattached too low. Then, I guess, the numbers 15-22 were torn off in a second scrapbook incident.
