I have these two S74 Doyles with clearly different font color. Is one a heavily trimmed color version, in white; while the other is actually from the white set? If so, which is which? If not, explanations?

both of those are white silks (s74-1) which came in three different front ink colors; maroon, brown, or black. all three colors are available with any of the 3 tobacco brands (excluding helmar). i have only seen a maroon helmar.

edited to add; there are white (though they look more ivory to me) colored silks (s74-2). if you have both in hand, there is a difference in color....white vs. ivory.
