I finally relented and started playing a bit of that, possibly owing to KOTOR, and it shares a number of the same problems I had with AD&D near the end there (too self-consciously complex, impossible to do actions of a certain drama level, impossibly munchkin-friendly, old-school GMs who want to kill you real hard).
Were I to want to run a Street Fighter game, I'd probably do so using Feng Shui.
