...am I the only one that managed to beat "The Adventure of Link" in 4 days (three of which being school days)? The level five ogre-ish boss and that phoenix thingie in the final castle were tough, granted, but not throwing-my-controller-at-the-screen tough.

Personally, I prefer the Rewinder (item 5) at full power. It's nice to have a laser that can cut through anything (even those large-scale bastiches) except those friggin' Metroid knockoffs in areas 8 and 11.

The Gyruss boss that gave me the hardest time was the Sun Boss. If large, fast homing shots don't kill you, then slower, more durable homing shots will. To quote the wise Alex from "River City Ransom," "BARF!"
