Saw Sin City last night and loved it, though it came dangerously close to my tolerance level for violence. (The unreal, cartoonish nature of the violence mitigated the sheer overwhelming amount of it for me.) Only one thing bugged me, though-- when Hannigan broke and signed the confession, why did they let him go free? Wouldn't they have, you know, gone to trial at that point? Or were they just going to hold on to the confession and use it if he ever tried to move against them?
