This is a value judgement on the morality of prostitution. People have different value systems. I don't think that this is a valid reason to take action.

Agreed. But being an option and being the best option are different.

Where do you get this? I can't deduce in any way from the original post that she wants a reason not to.
That said, yes as a LAST reseort I would go to the police, if there is a legel issue involved. My friend having a future is more impotant to me than my having a comfortable place in said future.
Man, I remember when in college people used to smoke pot and do underage drinking. That was way illegal, so I always called the cops. It was for their own good
