This time last year fuel depots were blocked by fuel protesters. Within days the whole country was paralysed. Even buying a simple loaf of bread became a challenge.
With the build-up of Armed Forces in the Med, the Gulf and Indian Ocean, although I don't advocate panic buying, I would highly recommend that consumers stock up with fuel and food.
History has a tendency of repeating itself. I clearly remember the Suez War of 1956 when the canal closed (

It could be a long cold Autumn and Winter in the UK.
