      I have never had a deer whistle that worked. The only thing that really works for me is a loud radio. Being an old guy who rides a BMW, the deer hear me long before I am seen. And yes I turn it down when I'm in the city. Maybe I should leave it turned up. If it's true that loud pipes save lives, then a loud radio may be the equivilant. Also, the volume of the radio is only annoying if it's not your type of music. Rap is not music.
