BLIV ROOM REMINDER

January 6 2006, 2:43 PM

Make sure you have rooms reserved for BOTH ends of the BL rally.

You really don't want to get done with the ride and not have a place to stay.

Any idea what time the finisher's banquet will be held? Some of use need to decide whether or not to book a room after the rally.

Cabin Space Just For You...B4 + After

January 6 2006, 3:19 PM

Dear Roomless Riders...
Please be advised that an opportunity for shared accommodation is available before and after the Butt Lite as follows...I have secured a two bedroom cabin within the Boundaries of the Spectacular Niobrara State park. A mere 1.5 miles from the heart of it ALL. The available dates are: Before: - August 6th and 7th. After: August 15 and 16th. The available bedroom is outfitted with TWO sets of bunk beds - as in room four 4 bodies. Qualification for this outstanding accommodation offer is very simple. You are welcome to be either grossly over weight or pathetically thin or anywhere in between. You can snore relentlessly. Your uncontrollable intestinal gas emissions are of no concern to me. Burp and belch to your hearts content. Riders with urinary track disorders that dictate 14 trips to the restroom each night will not be turned away. I am an understanding chap. After all - I'll be in the other room. BUTT - if you are a smoker - well - you best move on to another accommodation choice. And that means - pipes and cigars and the lot. If it lights and makes smoke - you'll be KTFO - (politely of course). The cost of this breathtaking cabin will be shared among the total number of riders who show up. All you have to do is e-mail me your desires - show up with a little cash - and you're in. I'm the most honorable and reliable sort you'll come across. I have paid for the rooms in full already - and welcome your company. E-mail me at 011wizard@msn.com and we'll go from there...

Gents...Clearly I messed up here - to be sure. I think it's obvious that the error was unintentional - I had only the best of intentions. Somehow I was under the impression that this board was for the BL riders only - not the public. I now know differently.
What we need right away - rather than an endless thread of egg tossing (you can do that in person when we meet) is someone with the right connections to get the post OFF of here. If I could remove or edit it myself I would certainly do it - but I don't see any provision for editing a post. If there's a way - well let me know.

heck, we ALL could have done if if someone hadn't beaten us to it.

Adam is in his car in another state right now (we can neither deny nor confirm that he is doing anything related to the BL).
I had to call him and let him know this was posted.

Adam just laughed and said to tell Mr wizard that he's buying the TS crew lunch at the Two Rivers.
Only thing better than Two Rivers cheeseburgers is if someone else is buying.....

oh--the rally is already making people laugh.....

Free Burgers!

January 6 2006, 5:38 PM

Friendly TS Staff - If I'm able to buy my way out of this mix up with a handful of free burgers - cheese or otherwise - that would indeed be lenient punishment... I would be happy to comply with this sentencing. My sincerest apologies for this rather inexcusable blunder.

I'm such a moron.

Wizard.

Lunch???

January 6 2006, 6:15 PM

I hope the definition of "TS Crew" includes the judges, officials, Rev's, staff, AND the riders. I like my burger medium with double cheese and kosher pickle, toasted sesame bun with fries and a Heinekins on the side.

Welcome to the madness. Nothing like putting your motorcycle boot into your mouth before the start! We'll all have the same opportunity over the next 8 months or so.

If Adam is indeed in a good mood, even I'm concerned.
Sounds like he's out finding really evil bonuses for everyone to experience this summer.
