I'm leaving the bike here in Prince George. Taking a bus to Vancouver tomorrow, where Bill Watt will put me up overnight, and put me on the bus to SEATAC airport on Sunday. Taking a SW Airlines home. Will be heading over Hopkins Hitching Post Monday with pics. Also taking my trailer to the welding shop to get attachment points welded on. Will drive back to Prince George with the trailer, and taking the bike back to MN for repairs.

Glad your doing fine Dave

Hey Dave,
Deb and are happy you survived mostly intact.
What happened to the poor, defenseless, good for nothing, inhabitant of the fine province of British Columbia? Will you be bringing deer jerky Friday night?
We have the duct tape to fix all that cosmetic stuff.
See you at the Liar's Banquet.
Critter

Hey Dave, You really should consider getting a headlight protector on your next bike. So glad to hear that you suffered as little personal damage as you did. Get better sooner.

Critter, no deer jerky this year. Bambi expired in the ditch, but I had no way to retrieve the carcass. Kinda messy to take it on the bus and plane, too.

I'm in Seattle at the moment, and will be home this evening.

Hey Dave,
Glad you got through this one without a hospital stay....
My Brother in law was "left turned" last week.
Even with helmet on,his injuries are severe, and the extent of injury is still not fully discovered yet.
He has undergone a handfull of operations so far with more in the future. He has a tube to assist breathing and so isn't able to talk to us yet, though his spirits are strong.
Today I told him that I didn't know he hated Buicks so much, with broken ribs it's not good to make me people laugh....

On the heels of his accident my wife has informed me that even though the Mn1k IS a 24 event, MINE is not going to be, we are still negotiating that but if I dont play ball she may back over the bikes to ensure her wish.

Lets be careful out there people.
