Mr. RM...in the TS digital rule 11 G it state "Riders will be allowed to submit one photo for each bonus claimed.
No other photos for that bonus will be considered."
Does that mean there can be only one photo on the card for a bonus?
OR
We can have multiple photos of the bonus location on the card submitted for scoring, but can only submit/select/claim/choose ONE with the scorer at the scoring table during the scoring process?
I can't speak for Bart, but in the BL Rally it was the former.
Turning in more than one photo for the bonus meant automatically
declaring that bonus void (as in no points).
The goal was to eliminate the scorers from having to load unnecessary photos (takes time) while the rider then proceeded to go "it's this one....no wait...it's that one....no wait, I meant it's photo number 14......." etc.
The riders were given plenty of time to do all their checking and eliminate all unnecessary photos from the card before they got to the scoring table.
But if Bart will let us turn in more than one photo per bonus--well maybe I'm coming to the scoring table with hundreds of them......
I can't speak for Bart, either, but I suspect there may be some clarification of this at the riders' meeting. If not before. A good reason to attend and pay attention.
I can't always speak for Bart either, but in this case, the rule is the same as for Butt Lite. Only one digital photo per bonus may be on the card submitted at the scoring table. This and all other photo related questions will be addressed at the riders meeting Friday night.
Can the luddites who insist on using tried and true analog technology be excused from the rider meeting before what promises to be a long and drawn out digital technology bitch and whine session? Puhlease? Maybe the schedule could be amended to add an 0500 Saturday morning "Dawn of the Digital Age" meeting which luddites need not attend?
Actually, I don't believe the digital issues will take as long to address as Kevin fears. I recall that part of the Butt Lite riders meeting was surprisingly succinct. Maybe BL riders were better prepared (there certainly were fewer) but I don't intend for it to turn into a horror show.
