Giant Boot

Using the "shortest distance" button on the GPS, I got to do some high-quality poking around on southeastern Minnesota backroads over the weekend.

I noticed a couple of billboards announcing the "coming soon" of the world's largest boot, which will be located at the Red Wing shoe store in Red Wing.

Sounds like a perfect rally bonus. What would make it even more perfect would be two large boots, maybe a half-mile apart from one another.

Yep, already noted that one. It appears there is only one giant boot, so confusion should be limited.

There is another Giant Boot

There is another giant boot. The L.L. Bean store in Freeport, Maine has one in front of the store.

I haven't seen the Redwing one, but from the picute it appears to be larger.

Oddly enough, there also appear to be two World's Largest Little Red Wagons.

There's this one in a park in Spokane:

and there's this one that's - well, maybe that's for me to know and you to find out:

While scouting stuff for BL-whatever,
Lisa and I located the World's Largest Cowboy Boots in San Antonio.
We went with the Robert Johnson site in the town instead.

Putz n Glo

<<Imagine the fun of playing black light miniature golf! Could be even better than bowling.>>

Can you imagine subjecting your brain parts to a Putz n Glo experience on about day five of a BL?

A cartoon version of your brain after getting a total Putz job would show all sorts of springs and gears boinking and boinging and you'd have those twirling red and white bullseye things in your eyes.

Perfect.
