There is no way that the ignorance and stupidity and hypocrisy of Papua New Guineans will not be a talking point among intelligent people for years to come. Once an expat comes to PNG he or she immediately realises how pathetic Melanesians are as a people. But in order to get along with the rabble, the expat usually indulges in paternalistic banter so as to ingratiate him or herself with the locals. But deep in the heart of the expat is the usual contempt for the hopeless and stupid and hypocritical nature of the Melanesian nincompoop. It is a fact of life that Melanesians were born to be slaves.
