Response to Scrap OBE and bring back SOBC

It seems that from most of the posts here people do not understand what OBE really is. It is simply planning and teaching looking at the end result - the outcome. Objectives are still used and the actual content has really changed and HOW teachers teach the content hasn't really changed. The only difference is we now teach with the end result in mind. Outcomes and Objectives are not mutually exclusive - it was the fools who went around in-servicing school on OBE who made it all seem so difficult when it isn't. Now we have a good excuse to cover up our laziness in the classroom. Most teachers are not performing and are using OBE as a scapegoat to cover their own laziness. Its not OBE that the problem - it's poorley trained teachers in poorly funded and administered Teachers colleges that we should point the finger at.
