Get some facts straight.

Australia has a population of around 22 million.

Only 160,000 convicts were transported to Australia over 80 years, mostly the result of petty thefts due to the harsh UK laws of the time.

Only a small percentage of Australians can trace their ancestry back to convicts (around 2%).

There are more indigenous people in Australia now than there ever were convicts.
