Unfortunately those working in the dept education policy sections these days think no more melanesian than did their aussie predecessors in the curriculum development department. They grew up in the city, only know the city, and have no concept of how the majority of PNG schoolchildren live and struggle. For them, muruks and kapuls are imaginary, they only know dogs and pigs as png animals.
