@Megatron - I agree with your point about what the basic platform that needs to be provided so that the resulting economical growth will develop this country.

@ Reality check - Port Moresby is benefiting from LNG & other developments. More people have jobs etc. Sadly, the big investments are foreign owned because PNGn's are not financially capable yet. The point was that everything is based in Port Moresby, large governement funds are disbursed in Port Moresby. To get anything worthwhile done, you need to come to Port Moresby. So if the provision of Goods and Services is being stifled in Port Moresby then don't be surprised if a vast majority of the population who is able will move to Port Moresby. A great example are Provincial governors who run their provinces from hotels in Port Moresby :)
