Of course you're right. But the reason why we don't put services in rural areas is the incredible expense per person, compared to if that same money is used for urban services. Anyway, why pass this off onto aid organisations? Are we, the "rich, rich rich LNG people of the Pacific," wealthy enough to send many of our politicians into permanent wealthy exile in Australia but too poor to serve our people's needs? Why must we even think about begging for more aid when there's so much money in the government accounts to steal?
