Response to Re: Royalties are on gross sales - not after expenses
To answer your questions:
Yes, I did read your earlier comments and no I am not close minded.
What I was stressing was if there is division based on race as the criteria, then this by its very definition is racist. It does not matter if the Papua New Guineans are getting what you consider to be better local food, the point is that there is a division. As an aside, shouldn't the individual PNGn's be free to choose what type of meal they prefer rather than having that choice literally forced down their throat?
--- Obviously all of this all hinges on the particulars of this situation. Is the division purely based on race? Having one or two token Papua New Guineans in the other mess does not count ---
Now to your other question ---
It is the mindset behind your comment, the rationalization of such abuses by our people, which is the default reaction by most Papua New Guineans and stems (I am not saying you in particular) from an ingrained inferiority complex that is reinforced by our "culture", language and increasingly now, the institutions and economics in the country.
Quick, disjointed response. I apologize if you took my comments the wrong way, sometimes this medium fails to convey the nuances of speech which are available in a face-to-face interaction.
