On the Charsi imbue I think you should be able to save the imbue and use it at your discretion.Since there are no repairs the benefits from an imbue will not last that long,even with the increased durability.
If you decide to imbue a bow or javelin you would have to use the imbue right away.
I'm for clearing all random bosses.
I am also for TP "escape".Definetly needed.
