I've reread Norwegian Wood and Kafka on the Shore, and parts of Wind-Up Bird. I've enjoyed the rereadings, firstly because they're good stories and secondly because when you reread them, it's easier (for me, at least) to pick up on the themes of the novel. Aside from that, it's interesting that the second time you read it, your perception of reading the same scenes change. So there's more suspense the first time around because you don't know what's going to happen. Then the second time, maybe there's more sadness because you know that something bad's about to happen.
