I am the granddaughter of James Burl Spradlin. I never have met him nor do I think he ever saw me, but I SO wish to find out if he is still alive or if he has family I can get to know.
The only info I have on him is his name, his firstwifes name and his siblings.
His first wife is my grandma. Peggy Jone(Byrd)Ferrol. She was only 13 or 14 when they got married and her Dad unauled the marriage.
His mothers name was either Ethel or Irene Cordell and his siblings are

Wanda A Spradlin born to Irene on 3 July 1944
Erma L Spradlin born to Irene on 8 Jan 1942
and Dwayne. I have not found to 2 boys anywhere yet, but still searching.
James was born to the Ethel I found on 13 Dec 1936. I am not sure if this is possible, but guessing it could be.
My grandpa James gave up rights to his daughter Debra Gale ( my mother ) when she was only 2. And Glenn King, adopted her. From what I have heard, Grandpa James was kinda a wild man, loving woman and liqueir.
Anyone having some info about this man or his family would be a great treasure to me.
