Just woundering who were some of the award winners last night at the year end awards banquet in Wellesley last night.

Yes the awards were handed out last night and its great to see the talent that builds this league to the stature that it deserves. Hockey of this calibre is often ignored by all.
People often remark that the teams that appear to dominate this league from year to year have money being flashed around to players. I ask those of you who think this to take your heads out of the sand and recognise the talent that these hard working coaches, executives and the sponsors of these teams put forth on the ice for us to wittness as well as enjoy.
The weaker organisations complain to this affect often. The only response there is to find new members and coaches who are deserving of heading these clubs and some day you may be part of that group of few that put in the hours required to build teams of this stature.
Finally to Wellesley whom is one of these organisations, I say thank you for a great evening and keep up the good work in your town.
