Hi, I'm studying in the US and am planning to get married next year. I need to know when will I need to go back to my country when my girlfriend petitions with the I-129F to apply for my K-1 visa back home? How long does it usually take from the first day that I go to the consulate and the day that I can fly back?
Is there any way in which I don't need to leave the US while applying for the K-1 visa to get married?
