Could you all do me a favor and read this? Then give me a lot of feedback, please? (I posted this in the BCF but I don't know how many who come here go there.)

Background: Bryn and Sinbad didn't meet in the Sacrifice. She has been transported from her home
into Sinbad's in "The Return of The Ronin." I was bored, so sue me.

Untitled (I really need a title.)

"I'm going to kill you." A husky man in a yellow vest shirt and red pants exclaimed as he swung out
wildly for a young man in a blue vest, white shirt, and tight leather pants.

The young man, who had long black hair, replied "So you keep saying." The dueling men were
fighting atop a building, the blond rushed at the other man and his blade slashed through the arm of a woman who had fallen from the sky.

She yelled in rage, "You pig!" And with one punch sent him flying, he hit his head and blacked out.
She turned on the other man, "What are you staring at?"

"Your arm-it needs to be stitched up."

She looked down and saw the blood seeping through a deep cut. "Oh, man. And this shirt lasted
longer than most of my things. My father is going to kill me!"

She started to walk away, but he couldn't let her go. "What is your name?"

"Bethany Rachel Yolanda Nichols." She grinned at his bemused expression.

"Beg your pardon?"

She turned around and looked at him fully for the first time, "I think you heard me before. Most
people call me Bryn. Good-bye."

"Wait a minute. Bryn. I like it. Tell me, what would a man have to do to find himself in your good graces?"

"Who wants to know?"

"Let's say a charming young stranger."

"Well, this stranger would have to know me better than someone he just met from off the streets, or
building top as the case may be."

"But he'd like to very much." *Especially since she is one of the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. Bryn wore a white peasant shirt, kind of like Maeve's but instead of a skirt she wore short pants.

"I'd also have to know who he is."

"The name's Sinbad." By this time they were walking through the streets.

"Oh, my." She walked away hurriedly, Sinbad followed. "I don't think I want to get to know this stranger. I doubt if he has any idea of how a girl should be treated."

"Like a princess I suppose." He said sarcastically, remembering how he had to step around Maeve.

Bryn whipped on him at that. "No. Like a person, with kindness and respect."

Sinbad was taken aback, "You're not like most girls, are you?"

She jerked back as though she'd been slapped, "What do you mean by that?"

He was contrite, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you."

Looking into his eyes, she knew he was sincere. "Its all right. I've lead a strange life, most of the men I knew treated me like the girl next door. Someone to confide in, but never court. I guess that's why I'd want to be friends before moving into another area of feelings."

"Sounds like a good idea to me." He smiled at her and felt an instant connection that had nothing to
do with the bracelet on her arm.

"Sinbad, I'm sure you and your lady friend are getting to know each other but her arm is bleeding, don't you think Firouz should take a look at it?"

"Good heavens, you're right Doubar. Doubar meet Bryn, Bryn my big brother, Doubar."

Doubar looked at the young lady. "A pleasure to meet you.."

"The pleasures all mine, I'm sure. Now if you will excuse me, I think I'm going to faint." And without further ado, she lost consciousness. Sinbad barely managed to catch her.

Doubar hid a smile at the tender look on Sinbad's face, *boy, he's got it bad. They walked over to
Firouz, who instantly took charge. Ordering some hot water, a needle, and thread he got busy
sewing up her arm.

Sinbad paced outside, anxious for news of Bryn, "Well? How is she?"

"It's hard to say, she lost a lot of blood. The fact that she is so tiny also complicates things. But she has a will as strong as yours, she'll fight."

Sinbad's bracelet began to glow, "Get Bryn and put her in Maeve's room. She's coming with us."

"But where are we going?"

Holding up his bracelet as he went to get Bryn, "To where ever fate takes us." He picked Bryn up
gently, she opened her eyes just a little, "Come on love, we're going for a little journey."

"Sinbad, do you think its wise to bring her with us? After all, we know nothing about her."

"Firouz, I feel responsible for what's happened to her. Besides, did you see what was on her left
arm?"

Rongar nodded and signed, "A rainbow bracelet."

"Exactly. And Master Dim-Dim once told me to trust those with these bracelets."

The next day Bryn woke up and noticed that the floor seemed to be swaying under her. "Either I lost more blood than I thought or I'm on the sea.."

"Actually, you're on the Nomad. I'm Firouz, the ship's physician. You did lose a lot of blood, in fact I wasn't sure you'd recover. Sinbad's been in here every five minutes to check on you." As he spoke they heard footsteps outside, "In fact, that should be him now."

True to Firouz's words, the Captain stuck his head in the room, "How is she?"

"I'm fine, Captain. Though I am wondering why I'm here, on your ship."

"I brought you aboard." He walked over and took her hand in his, Firouz left them alone. "I felt
responsible for your wound. And I meant what I said, I'd like to get to know you better."

"Captain, you are in no way responsible for my falling through the a portal and landing in the middle of your fight. As for getting to know me better, I have no objection. But why take me on board? You were on vacation, I believe."

"I was, until I knew my friend, Tetsu, needed my help. You and I have something in common with
him." She sent him a questioning look, "Our taste in jewelry."

He held up her left arm, she looked at her bracelet in shock. "Where did this come from?"

"That's what we'd like to know. You see, Tetsu and I both went through a storm. Our ships went
down and we thought there was no hope, but then we awoke on a strange island. We had the bracelets on, but no memory of how we got them. Sound familiar?"

Bryn thought, "No. The last thing I recall was giving the signal to bring in the reinforcements, then I was falling and I got struck by that sword."

"A battle? Maybe you were wounded and somehow came into contact with whatever gave us the
bracelets."

"That makes sense, I guess. So, where do we go from here?"

"I don't know. Is your name really Bethany Yolanda Racheal Nichols?"

She laughed, "No, well in part. It's Bryn Nichols."

"Ahhh. So would you like to see the rest of the Nomad?" His eyes twinkled merrily. She nodded and
he helped her sit up. At first she was a little dizzy and laid her head on his shoulder. He helped her put on her shoes, *I could get used to this. What am I thinking, I've just met her and already can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her. Chuckling softly he took her on a tour of the Nomad. They walked through the hallway and Bryn saw that there were tour other cabins, then she saw the galley. It was a clean and well organized room, the table was off to one side of the room out of the way. The lower deck had a bunch of storage rooms. They went back up the stairs and Bryn saw that the Nomad was a fine sailing vessel. Its mizenmast had one large triangle sail that was topped by the crow's nest.

The prow of the ship had another mast with a smaller sail just behind the cabin. The longboat was tied above the cabin which was in front of the tiller. Right now Doubar stood to its right, holding it loosely. He smiled when he saw them, "So lass, you've decided to join the land of the living?"

"Aye, Master Doubar. The siren song of the sea called to me irresistibly." She grinned back at him.

"Call me Doubar."

"Ah, Rongar! I think you are the only one that hasn't met our new crewmember."

Bryn looked into the dark eyes of the Moorish man, reading his life in them. *How do you do, your
majesty?

Rongar was startled, *"You know me?"

"*Of course. The eyes are the window of a soul, they show that you still blame yourself for what
happened. Please stop, you fulfilled you destiny. Nothing you could have done would have stopped
it. Somethings are meant to be."

*"Thank you." He bowed over her hand so Sinbad wouldn't see the tears in his eyes.

Suddenly a familiar cry rang through the air, Dermott flew over and landed beside Bryn. "That's
Dermott, Maeve's hawk. She used to be a part of the crew before her master took her to be safe
with him."

Bryn reached out and stroked Dermott. *"A pleasure to met you."

*"The pleasure's all mine."

Episode Continues as we saw it.

The End.

P.S. I decided that the only way to make this story work was to redo the whole season. Am I crazy or what?
