We interupt this forum to bring you a few special messages from HBKid:
Hey All!
Got a couple big announcements for everyone.
Some of you guys may have heard already. Some probably have not. On New Years Eve 1999, just hours before the big 2000 hit, and I was nervous as heck doing it, I asked my special gal Shela, to marry me! She said "Yes"(Don't worry. Neither of us was tanked when I asked or else I wouldn't be here to write this. Shela would have probably pounded me into the next life LOL). No date has been set, as we aren't rushing. I have some personal problems with family that some may know about, that I need to attempt to settle first and Shela is 100% behind me in that.
Now of course, one question still plagues my head. "Will this be heaven or will this be hell?" Whatever the case may be, I'm looking forward to it.
On a serious note, I'm very much looking forward to this and will keep you guys updated. If I can get a scanner or digital camera by then, I'll try to get some photos.
Second thing. The reason this note was delayed was because, when I was ready to post it, something else major came up and I wanted to get things confirmed before I posted it publicly, which brings me too...
On Tuesday February 15, 2000 I got an e-mail from Michael Hill at Phoenix Virtual Television, a website that promotes virtual seasons for canceled tv series'. They got word about the "Fan Fiction Seasons of Sinbad" and sent an e-mail to our staff E-mail address, asking us if they could post our link and help us out by promoting it on there website. Nothing has be replied yet, as I have asked the rest of the staff if everyone wants to do this. It's defiantly something that is good for the project and even better for "Adventures of Sinbad" in general. About Phoenix: PTV already promotes such virtual seasons as Highlander, Brimstone, B5, A new Trek series, and Sentinal. It's bout time they get some Sinbad flavor added to there website
The third part of my note, also deals with the virtual business. I feel its time to update everyone on our status. As some may have noticed, lately we have not been posting updates on the forums on whats to come, etc. For those that have yet too see the note we posted at the site, here is a revised version for the forum
Dear Fellow Sinbad Fans,
I want to update everyone on the recent happenings with the "Fan Fiction Adventures of Sinbad." In the past two months we have had to post a series' of repeats from last season and this season, a much longer series' of reruns for winter time then we had originally hoped to post before more new episodes were released. So far this season, eight of our scheduled twenty-six new episodes have been released.
Our status. I can happily say that, yes we are still running shop so to speak and working on the duration of the fourth season. This past fall, several of our staff members went off to college and another has a job that takes them on the road quite often. We at the "Fan Fiction Seasons of Sinbad" believe that education and personal problems and or situations not related to the seasons and its work, must come first.
All the staff are working at there best to write and edit the upcoming episodes, which will be spaced out over the next few months to allow everyone a chance to work at a fair pace. We will be releasing more new episodes starting next week, February 21, 2000.
The staff wants everyone to know we are not giving up on Sinbad or fading the fan fiction seasons out. Whether or not a fifth season is in the works is not being discussed at the current time but we are working on the duration of the fourth and certainly look forward to sharing our work with everyone on the net.
We again want to thank everyone for there continued support.
Sincerely,
HBKid, Seeker, Lady Rumina, Saderah, Rabbit, Celeste, Debbie, Leah,
Jadyn, Dineara, Stace, Jose and Tracy
